Contract - AS400 - System Analyst

Job Description

. Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for AS400 and Silverlake-based banking systems

. Support and enhance core banking, payments, trade finance, and related modules built on AS400/Silverlake platforms

. Work closely with business stakeholders to identify gaps, propose solutions, and ensure system alignment with business needs

. Prepare system documentation including FSD, TSD, URS, process flows, and data mappings

. Coordinate and support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployment activities

. Perform impact analysis for system changes, enhancements, and regulatory requirements

. Liaise with vendors (e.g., Silverlake) and internal IT teams for issue resolution, upgrades, and system improvements

. Provide production support, root cause analysis, and incident resolution for AS400/Silverlake applications

. Ensure systems comply with banking regulations, security standards, and audit requirements

Required Skills & Experience

. 5+ years of experience as a System Analyst in the banking or financial services domain

. Strong hands-on experience with AS400 / IBM iSeries environments

. Proven experience working on Silverlake core banking systems (e.g., payments, trade finance, retail/corporate banking modules)

. Good understanding of banking processes such as payments, clearing, trade finance, deposits, and loans

. Experience in writing functional and technical specifications

. Familiarity with RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, SQL (analysis/support level)

. Solid experience in UAT coordination, defect management, and change management

. Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional and multi-country teams
