Contract Accountant | Multiple Industries | Full Set Accounting
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee financial accounting and reporting activities across multiple business units. This role offers broad exposure to full-set accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, internal controls and finance transformation initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial accounts, including journal entries, accruals, provisions and adjustments
- Manage and review full-set accounting, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger activities
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities and prepare management and Group financial reports
- Manage inter company transactions, recharges, settlements and reconciliations
- Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate internal and external audits
- Support tax compliance activities, including corporate tax, GST/VAT and withholding tax matters
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local accounting standards, Group policies and internal controls
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance or an equivalent qualification
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA or ACCA is preferred
- Minimum 5 accounting experience
- Experience managing full sets of accounts in a multinational or complex business environment
- Experience supporting multiple entities, business units or international operations
- Familiarity with Shared Service Centre models and ERP systems SAP experience is an advantage
- Experience in energy, commodity trading, manufacturing, renewables or related industries is advantageous
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills

- Monday - Friday
- 9.00am - 6.00pm
