We are looking for a driven Content & Marketing Associate to join our Creative team. In this role, you will own content strategy and execution across Grain's digital touchpoints — from social media and EDMs to website copy and UI/UX. You'll work closely with our Creative Lead and cross-functional teams to craft messaging that resonates with our audience and drives business results.
This is a role for someone who can think strategically about content, execute independently, and articulate the why behind every piece of work.
You will:
- Own and execute social media and EDM content strategies to achieve key company objectives
- Manage Grain's Instagram presence: plan content calendars, engage with followers, and grow our community
- Write compelling copy across digital touchpoints — social posts, landing pages, EDMs, menus, ads, and UI/UX
- Develop content briefs for production, clearly articulating the campaign objective, target audience, and key message
- Source and brief content creators/influencers as part of content campaigns — from identifying the right partners to providing clear briefs and managing deliverables
- Support SEO efforts through content optimization and website updates
- Collaborate with Sales to craft lead generation messaging that resonates with potential clients
- Brainstorm and pitch fresh, creative ideas for campaigns and content that stand out
- Monitor content performance metrics and propose improvements based on data
- Provide cross-functional support on tasks that require a storytelling edge
We're looking for someone with:
- 2-3 years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or a related role
- Strong copywriting skills with a portfolio that demonstrates range (social, long-form, UI/UX)
- Ability to think strategically about content — understanding audience, objectives, and messaging
- Experience managing social media channels and content calendars
- Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization
- Strong communication skills — can brief stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working with data to measure content performance and iterate
Skills and qualifications:
- Must-have: Google Docs/Sheets, social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn), basic CMS knowledge
- Good knowledge: SEO tools, email marketing platforms, analytics (GA4 or similar)
- Nice-to-have: Basic design skills (Canva, Figma), photography
