Role Overview
We are looking for a Content and Digital Executive to support Group Communications in delivering clearly, timely and engaging external communications. The role covers managing of our corporate website and social media channels, handling media enquiries and supporting communications events.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop content for Sembcorp's corporate website and social media channels, ensuring consistency of tone and messaging.
- Manage the Group's content calendar, coordinating reviews and approvals.
- Maintain and refresh website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Conduct regular content audits to improve clarity, structure and searchability (e.g., clear headings, links, basic SEO).
- Work with internal teams and vendors to implement website updates and resolve issues, when needed.
- Track performance metrics (e.g., reach and engagement) and recommend practical changes to strengthen content effectiveness.
- Monitor daily news coverage and curate news digest for internal stakeholders.
- Manage the media inbox, route enquiries and coordinating responses to ensure timely and accurate follow-through.
- Support communications events and activities including planning timelines, preparing materials, vendor logistics and on-site support.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media or a related discipline.
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills in English; Mandarin is an advantage.
- Experience in working with website CMS and social media publishing workflows (including approvals).
- Experience in designing and/or video production is a plus.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and timelines and follow through without close supervision.
- Able to thrive in fast-paced working environment.
- Able to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrates openness to collaboration and a willingness to take on new initiatives.
- Good judgement and attention to detail, especially when handling media enquiries and approvals.
