Role Summary
Drive strategic planning, portfolio optimization, and financial oversight for a global container asset portfolio to support core liner shipping revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Fleet Planning: Formulate and execute medium to long-term global container fleet strategies aligned with trade demand, seasonal trade patterns, and overall business objectives.
- Portfolio & Asset Optimization: Balance asset quality, cost efficiency, and operational agility by steering strategic decisions around newbuilding, leasing, sales, and equipment phase-outs.
- Global Inventory Management: Track global fleet KPIs, target stock levels, and overall fleet size while providing strategic guidance to regional equipment control and flow teams.
- Lifecycle & Ownership Strategy: Evaluate lease-versus-buy scenarios, direct long-term asset positioning, and minimize lifecycle costs across the container portfolio.
- Financial Oversight & Budgeting: Lead container-related CAPEX and OPEX budgeting, investment modeling, cash-flow forecasting, and fleet expenditure optimization.
Key Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in container fleet management, equipment planning, or container leasing operations.
