RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage Japanese Interest Accounts (JIA) to achieve sustainable underwriting profit and premium growth for Consumer Lines products.
2. Drive strong renewal retention through tailored renewal presentations, proactive client engagement, and comprehensive end-to-end renewal support.
3. Provide day-to-day servicing for JIA, including handling enquiries and promptly assisting with claims appeals and endorsement requests.
4. Develop a strong working knowledge of Consumer Lines products, gain hands-on experience and contribute practical insights to initiatives that support business growth.
5. Identify growth opportunities and strategies and collaborate with Consumer Lines Underwriting team to develop appropriate solutions for our clients.
6. Work effectively with internal stakeholders to deliver a high level of service and drive business growth.
7. Assist the Team Leader to achieve the performance objectives of the team and maintain a high level of service.
EDUCATION / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
1. Mandatory: Certification in General Insurance (CGI) and Health Insurance (HI)
2. Diploma/Tertiary education and/or ACII or other insurance diploma is a plus
WORK EXPERIENCE & ANY SPECIFIC SKILLS SET REQUIRED
1. Minimum 2 years of experience in general insurance business development.
2. Positive and service oriented attitude good negotiation skills
3. Hands on and pragmatic, with a pro-active approach to problem solving and strong willingness to take initiate.
