Job Description
We are seeking a committed Sustainability Practitioner to lead and support sustainability reporting initiatives across financial institutions and other industry sectors. This role requires bridging technical expertise in sustainability with financial sector knowledge to ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and to meet the expectations of diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Sustainability Reporting
- Develop, manage, and deliver sustainability/ESG reports aligned with leading frameworks (GRI, SASB, ISSB, TCFD, EU Taxonomy).
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements (e.g., MAS, SGX).
- Collect, validate, and analyze ESG data across operations, investments, and portfolios.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams (risk, compliance, finance, operations) to embed sustainability into reporting processes.
- Engage with external stakeholders including regulators, auditors, investors, and rating agencies.
Capacity Building
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on sustainability reporting standards and best practices.
- Support the development of internal ESG data management policies and procedures.
- Conduct public and client training sessions to advance sustainability knowledge through TEMBUSU Academy.
Strategic Advisory
- Identify opportunities to strengthen sustainability performance and disclosure practices.
- Advise on emerging trends in sustainable finance, climate risk, and ESG integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Environmental Engineering or related fields.
- 3-5 years of experience in sustainability reporting, preferably within financial institutions or consulting.
- Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks (GRI, SASB, ISSB, TCFD) and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with sustainability data platforms and reporting tools is an advantage.
