Responsibilities
This role is part of our Strategic Pipeline Hiring initiative, aimed at building a strong talent bench to support future business growth and opportunities across the APAC region.
We are
proactively building a pipeline for the following positions:
- Consultant, Solutions Design, APAC
- Senior Consultant, Solutions Design, APAC
As part of the Solutions Design team, this role is responsible for developing and designing innovative supply chain solutions for complex customer projects, ensuring operational efficiency, commercial viability, and alignment with customer requirements to support business growth, contract retention, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the APAC SME for solution design practices, including Technology Sector solutions, VMI, I2M, and simulation modeling.
- Lead and support solution design workstreams for new business opportunities, contract renewals, and strategic customer projects.
- Develop innovative, cost-effective, and commercially competitive supply chain solutions.
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, understand requirements, and deliver value-added solutions.
- Lead, coach, and develop Solution Design team capabilities across technical, commercial, and project management disciplines.
- Drive innovation, operational safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across all solution design activities.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and influence cross-functional teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
- Govern solution quality, business case validation, resource planning, and execution of solution design strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure solutions support revenue growth, customer retention, operational excellence, and long-term business sustainability.
- Lead solution design projects for new business, renewals, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and validate supply chain solutions, costing, pricing, and implementation plans.
- Manage medium to high-complexity projects supporting opportunities.
- Provide consulting expertise across warehouse design, operational optimization, and network strategy projects.
- Coach and mentor junior Solution Design professionals to enhance technical and commercial capabilities.
- Implement and uphold global and regional Solution Design standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the Solutions Design community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4-7 years of experience in Solutions Design, Transport Management, or Supply Chain Operations.
- Strong end-to-end supply chain knowledge covering warehousing, transportation, and logistics operations.
- Proven experience in solution design, network modeling, and optimization of complex warehousing or transport operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and business modeling.
- Good understanding of solution design methodologies, tools, and commercial costing principles.
- Broad knowledge of supply chain products, customer solutions, and industry sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and multiple geographies.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Sales, business development, or customer-facing solution consulting experience preferred.
- Comfortable using AI-powered tools to improve analysis, decision-making, and productivity.
