Why This Role Is Valuable

Revantage APAC is seeking a Senior Associate, Portfolio Accounting & Financial Reporting on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave coverage within the Singapore-based Portfolio Accounting & Financial Reporting team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership, financial oversight and review of allocated Blackstone real estate investments and associated Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). This role serves as a key control function within the team, ensuring the quality, accuracy and timeliness of accounting, reporting, capital transaction and governance activities across the investment lifecycle.
The candidate is expected to independently manage assigned deals, review deliverables, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and drive the successful execution of reporting and transactional activities.

How You Add Value

(including but are not limited to)
Deal Onboarding:

• Coordinate acquisition activities and monitor key onboarding milestones.
• Review acquisition funds flow through the investment structure and validate transaction execution.
• Review acquisition documents and summarize critical accounting, tax and funding considerations.
• Coordinate onboarding requirements across Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal and Corporate Secretarial teams.
• Review closing cost and working capital requirements as part of acquisition completion.
• Support transaction teams through provision of financial information and analysis.

Deal Ownership & Portfolio Management:

• Assume end-to-end ownership of assigned portfolio investments and SPVs.
• Capitalize funding through the deal structure in accordance with legal, accounting and tax requirements and monitor throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Ensure timely approval and payment of invoices
• Review monthly management accounts and quarterly reporting packages for assigned investments.
• Review quarterly valuation submissions, including NAV analysis, debt reporting and cash analysis.
• Monitor liquidity positions and cash management requirements on an ongoing basis.
• Manage working capital requirements and capital transactions throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Coordinate funding activities through investment structures in accordance with legal, accounting and tax requirements.
• Review funds transfer documentation and oversee transaction execution with Treasury.
• Review distribution calculations and solvency assessments.
• Coordinate and manage statutory audits, including review of statutory financial statements and resolution of audit issues.
• Review quarterly fair value allocation calculations and supporting documentation.
• Ensure entity structures, corporate records and deal documentation remain current and accurately maintained.

Deal Disposition & Liquidation:

• Coordinate disposition activities including funds flow management, tax review support and transaction close-out activities.
• Oversee working capital management throughout the disposal and liquidation process.
• Coordinate with Legal and Corporate Secretarial teams on entity wind-down activities and post-disposal requirements.

Tax Compliance

• Support the Tax team in ensuring timely completion of tax reporting obligations.
• Review financial information provided to tax advisors and tax authorities.
• Assist with resolution of tax-related accounting and reporting matters.

Other Responsibilities

• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for financial reporting processes
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to analysts and junior team members where required, including India offshore team
• Coordinate activities across Finance, Treasury, Tax, Corporate Secretarial, Legal and external service providers.
• Ad hoc project work

What You Bring To The Role

• 6 years + experience in financial reporting, real estate, private equity, or fund administration
• Chartered Accountant, CPA or equivalent professional qualification
• Fluent in English, with strong relationship management skills to influence diverse stakeholders
• Tax structuring knowledge beneficial
• Relationship management experience to influence diverse stakeholders across functional teams
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Results orientated with a strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
