Brief Summary
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Pathologist to provide expert clinical and technical guidance within a laboratory setting. This role prioritizes ethical standards in diagnostic services and client communication.
Responsibilities
- Hold the necessary license while overseeing laboratory operations. Offer professional consultation and diagnostic services in the relevant field of specialization. Ensure the highest quality of work and services to clients, fostering effective communication. Authorize the inclusion of your credentials as the Consultant Pathologist on test reports, including cytology and PAP smears. Collaborate closely with departmental personnel and liaise with other pathologists and managers regarding services provided to physicians.
Requirements
- Degree in medicine with relevant certification in pathology from an accredited professional board (e.g., American Board Certification, MRCPath, FRCPath, FRCPA, AACB, ABMM, DABCC, Chartered Scientists). At least 5 years of relevant experience in a clinical laboratory setting. Registration as a Pathologist in Singapore with appropriate higher qualifications and training in clinical laboratory disciplines.
