Job Description

AboutInternational Cancer Specialists (ICS)

InternationalCancer Specialists is a Singapore-based private medical oncology practice delivering clinically-led, patient-centred cancer care to patients fromSingapore and across the region. We are a small, consultant-led team, with a deeply personal model of care and a long-standing referral footprint among theSingapore medical community and overseas.

We are a working clinical practice, not a corporate cancer centre. Our patients are with us from diagnosis through active treatment to surveillance, and our consultants are accessible to them in a way that the larger institutions cannot replicate.

The role

We are recruiting a medical Oncologist to join our practice as a full-time consultant clinician. You will run your own list of patients, contribute to the clinical leadership of the practice alongside our current medical Oncologist, and partner with our nursing, patient liaison and business development teams to deliver consistently excellent care.

The position is intentionally a partner-track role rather than a junior consultant slot. We are looking for someone who is comfortable making independent treatment decisions, who can hold their own and interested in overseas medical collaborations. The ideal candidate will be interested in growing a practice rather than only working in one.

Clinicalfocus

The candidate will have a solid-tumour practice and depth in any of the following: breast, lung (thoracic), colorectal, and prostate / genitourinary cancers. These are the areas of greatest patient demand in our practice and the natural complement to our existing consultants.

Candidates with strong sub-specialty expertise would be advantageous.

. Clinical leadership Support our nursingteam on chemotherapy administration protocols, toxicity management, andemergency oncology cover.

. Practice contribution Act as a referralpoint for our Business Development and Patient Liaison teams, including foroverseas patients (notably from Indonesia and the wider region).

. Documentation & compliance Maintain clean and timely clinical documentation in line with SMC, MOH and CPF/insurer requirements.

Qualificationsand registration (essential)

. SMC registration. full and unconditional registration with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) at the time of joining.

. Specialist accreditation Specialist accreditation in Medical Oncology recognised by the Specialists AccreditationBoard (SAB) of Singapore.

Experience profile

. Seniority 5+ years of post-specialist-accreditation practice as a medical oncologist.

. Sub-specialty depth would be advantageous.

. Treatment breadth Experienced with immunotherapy and targeted-therapy.

. Academic contribution Publications, research or trial involvement are a plus, not a prerequisite.

. Language Strong English essentialconversational Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia an advantage.

Who we are looking for

. Patient-centred A clinician who treats patients as people first. ICS is built around that ethos and we hire for it.

. Collegial Comfortable in a small-practice environment where every clinician is visible and where consensus and collegiality matter.

. Team player Professional, low-ego, witha strong working relationship with nursing and operational colleagues.

. Growth mindset Interested in growing thepractice, not only in seeing patients but in shaping how we deliver care.

What we offer

. Compensation A competitive consultant-level base salary.

. Variable pay Clinical bonus arrangement linked to consultation and treatment volumes, structured to reward sustained patient outcomes rather than throughput alone.

. Benefits & professional support. CPF(employer contribution per Singapore statutory requirements) and corporate group insurance.

. Environment A high-trust, founder-led environment with direct working relationships with the CEO, COO and MedicalOncologist. Genuine influence on practice direction.
