Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials to meet project specifications
- Plan and organize the layout of structures based on project designs and technical drawings
- Maintain carpentry tools and equipment to ensure they are in safe and good working condition
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up tools, and gathering necessary materials
- Execute carpentry work with precision while adhering to health and safety regulations, including the use of protective equipment
- Clean and organize the worksite after each job to maintain a safe environment
Required competencies and certifications
- Proven experience performing carpentry tasks
- Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
