QC/QM Worker (Condominium Project)
Job Descriptions:
A. Site Quality Control
- Conduct daily inspection for structural, architectural, M&E works within the condominium project.
- Check workmanship for key condo elements:
- Reinforcement, formwork & concrete works
- Waterproofing for bathrooms, balconies, planter boxes
- Tiling & stone works
- Doors, windows, glazing installation
- Painting & finishing
- M&E coordination points
- Ensure all works comply with BCA standards, contract specifications, shop drawings, and QP/RE requirements.
- Verify incoming materials and ensure materials meet project specifications and delivery documentation.
- Prepare and submit Inspection Forms (RFI/WIR) to consultants for approval.
- Monitor subcontractors work quality and report any non-conformance.
B. Quality Management
- Assist in implementing the project Quality Management System (QMS).
- Maintain quality records such as:
- Inspection checklists
- Test reports
- Material approval documents
- Calibration logs
- Audit records
- Support internal and external audits (e.g. ISO, BCA CONQUAS, consultant site audits).
C. Non-Conformance Management
- Identify defects and report NCRs.
- Follow up with subcontractors on rectification works and ensure close-out.
- Keep proper documentation of corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements
- Minimum N-Level / O-Level / ITE / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 13 years experience in QC/QM role in construction (condominium experience preferred).
- Good understanding of architectural finishing, M&E coordination, and waterproofing.
- Able to read drawings and follow site procedures.
- Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and coordinate with site team.
- Site-based role at condominium project.
