Job Description

QC/QM Worker (Condominium Project)

Job Descriptions:

A. Site Quality Control

  • Conduct daily inspection for structural, architectural, M&E works within the condominium project.
  • Check workmanship for key condo elements:
  • Reinforcement, formwork & concrete works
  • Waterproofing for bathrooms, balconies, planter boxes
  • Tiling & stone works
  • Doors, windows, glazing installation
  • Painting & finishing
  • M&E coordination points
  • Ensure all works comply with BCA standards, contract specifications, shop drawings, and QP/RE requirements.
  • Verify incoming materials and ensure materials meet project specifications and delivery documentation.
  • Prepare and submit Inspection Forms (RFI/WIR) to consultants for approval.
  • Monitor subcontractors work quality and report any non-conformance.

B. Quality Management

  • Assist in implementing the project Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Maintain quality records such as:
  • Inspection checklists
  • Test reports
  • Material approval documents
  • Calibration logs
  • Audit records
  • Support internal and external audits (e.g. ISO, BCA CONQUAS, consultant site audits).

C. Non-Conformance Management

  • Identify defects and report NCRs.
  • Follow up with subcontractors on rectification works and ensure close-out.
  • Keep proper documentation of corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

  • Minimum N-Level / O-Level / ITE / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 13 years experience in QC/QM role in construction (condominium experience preferred).
  • Good understanding of architectural finishing, M&E coordination, and waterproofing.
  • Able to read drawings and follow site procedures.
  • Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and coordinate with site team.
  • Site-based role at condominium project.
