Construction Technical Manager

JOB SCOPE

• Act as the primary person responsible for driving and implementing project technical solutions, participating in project design planning and providing practical, constructive technical recommendations.

• Lead and coordinate external technical proposals, gather and integrate internal technical input, review design and draft drawings in advance, ensure design implementation meets Singapore standards and project requirements, and participate in internal project design planning meetings.

• Support construction-phase technical management, review construction plans and methods, and assist in developing specialized construction schemes.

• Participate in material sample approval, VPMU (or company project management system) implementation, and conduct regular on-site technical coordination to support construction activities.

• Contribute to early-stage project cost control and provide technical support for cost optimization and risk management.

• Complete other tasks assigned by management and participate in the development and improvement of the company's engineering and project management systems.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Strong project technical management skills, familiar with design coordination, construction plan review, and on-site technical support processes.

• Knowledge of Singapore engineering standards, codes, and technical requirements is preferred.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Strong sense of responsibility, execution capability, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
