Requirements
5 years experience in operating road painting machines and equipment.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including painting and lifting materials.
Valid Class 4 driving license.
Strong leadership and communication skills to manage workers effectively.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic knowledge of safety procedures and compliance requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Take accurate measurements of carparks before repainting.
- Operate painting machines and equipment to paint carpark lines and road markings.
- Perform manual painting tasks
- Drive workers and transport equipment/materials to job sites.
- Supervise and manage workers to ensure productivity and safety.
- Maintain painting machines and tools in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and site regulations.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to meet required standards.
- Coordinate logistics (paint, materials, schedules) to minimize disruption to carpark users.
- Report daily progress and issues to project manager or town council representatives.
