Job Summary
Responsible for supervising daily site operations, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating workers and subcontractors, and supporting the Project Manager to deliver the project on time and within quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on site to maintain project progress and quality standards
- Coordinate manpower, materials, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completion
- Enforce safety regulations, method statements, and company procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Conduct site inspections to assess progress and identify issues, reporting findings to the Project Manager
- Check workmanship quality to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
- Resolve site problems promptly by identifying causes and implementing effective solutions
- Prepare daily site reports, attendance records, and basic documentation to support project tracking
- Support safety officers in maintaining workplace safety standards and compliance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of WSH (Workplace Safety & Health) rules in Singapore
- Ability to read basic construction drawings
- Strong coordination and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and subcontractors
- Ability to work independently and manage site challenges proactively
