Job Summary
Oversee interior design and renovation projects from initiation to handover, ensuring timely completion, quality workmanship, and client satisfaction through effective coordination with stakeholders and proactive site management.
Responsibilities
- Manage interior design and renovation projects from start to handover, ensuring completion on schedule and meeting client expectations
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship quality, and adherence to standards
- Identify and resolve site issues promptly to maintain project timelines and quality
- Coordinate with designers, subcontractors, and internal teams to align on design, materials, and schedules
- Participate in site meetings and communicate with relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution
- Work effectively in environments with dust and dirt typical of construction sites
- Support carpentry tasks and tool usage when manpower is limited to maintain workflow
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines with strong multitasking skills
- Communicate clearly in English and Mandarin to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and Chinese-speaking associates
- Work independently and collaboratively to achieve project goals
- Apply strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and subcontractors
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proven experience managing interior design and renovation projects
- Knowledge of Singapore's interior construction processes, materials, and vendor/subcontractor management.
- Able to help carpenter if not enough manpower.
