Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to oversee and coordinate daily operations on-site for our construction projects in Singapore. The ideal candidate will ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with building codes and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead construction workers, subcontractors, and tradespeople on-site.
- Plan and assign tasks according to project schedules and blueprints.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations (WSH Act) and company policies.
- Monitor work progress, quality control, and material usage.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
- Maintain accurate daily reports (e.g., manpower, progress, incidents).
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years as a foreman in Singapore's construction industry (high-rise, civil, or industrial projects preferred).
Skills:
- Proficient in reading construction drawings and schedules.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of local safety standards (e.g., SCDF, BCA, MOM).
Certifications:
- Valid BCA Supervisory Training Record (STR) or equivalent.
- WSH certifications (e.g., Supervisor Safety Course) are a plus.
