Job Description

  • Schedule, assigns and plans the work of carpentry shop personnel personnel performing a variety of carpentry projects.
  • Plans and develops work schedules, equipment usage schedules, priority of carpentry expenditures and procedures for equipment maintenance.
  • Estimate material and labour.
  • Monitors the acquisition and use of materials.
  • Trains or informs employees of new work nmethods or procedures, changes in safety regulations, work policies, construction codes and the link.
  • Reviews plans and specifications for future building and inspects new buildings to ensure quality work and code and specificatiohn compliance.
