Job Summary
Assign tasks to construction workers, enforce safety regulations, inspect work quality, and coordinate with subcontractors and project managers to ensure projects meet timelines.
Responsibilities
- Assign tasks to construction personnel to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of protective equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify and manage safety hazards
- Verify that work techniques are performed correctly and safely to maintain quality
- Organize and manage work schedules to optimize resource allocation and project progress
- Assist project managers in planning work activities to align with project goals
- Complete detailed site reports and maintain accurate records of site activities
- Participate in site management meetings to communicate progress and resolve issues
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid Driving License
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Demonstrate over 10 years of hands-on site or project engineering experience
- Exhibit strong proficiency in interpreting project drawings for accurate execution
- Pro-active and good working attitude
- Able to work on weekend/Public Holidays should the need arise
- Able to work irregular hours should the need arise
