Job Description

  • Oversee daily work activities, manage subcontractors, and track progress
  • Enforce health and safety regulations and conduct routine site hazard inspections
  • Help plan work schedules, read blueprints, and complete daily progress reports
  • Act as the main link between on-site workers and off-site project managers
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure work instructions are understood by workers
  • Interpret and follow construction drawings, method statements, and project specifications
  • Ensure workmanship meets project specs, BCA codes, and company QA/QC requirements
  • Check setting out, levels, dimensions, and installation against approved drawings
  • Raise RFIs and report site problems, delays, or design clashes to Site Engineer/PM
  • Witness and record site tests: concrete slump, compaction, pressure test, etc
  • Enforce WSH regulations, MOM guidelines, and company safety rules on site
  • Ensure workers have valid passes, PPE, and toolbox training records
  • Report incidents, near misses, and maintain site safety housekeeping
