Job Description:
Report to the Project Manager and / or Asst. Project Manager.
. Overall in charge of site coordination.
. Lead a team of operation staffs in daily operations.
. Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction activities of the project on site & monitor and control general workers deployment
. Maintain and manage site storage areas for building materials and equipment.
. Maintain records and movement of the rental materials / equipment regardless of such items is used by / issued to whoever throughout the construction period..
. Planning in ahead to prevent problem on site before it occurs, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials. Monitor and control material wastage.
. Ensure progress of work is within budget and timelines as well as quality and safety objectives.
. Control and monitor work progress and resources.
. In-depth understanding of project specifications, technical details and construction drawings.
. Carry out work scheduling, material requisition planning, project coordination, and documentation.
. Coordinate with project staff especially technical staff, client representatives, consultants, and subcontractors on technical matters to ensure that the operation on site is smooth, timely, safe, within budget and acceptable quality.
. Ensure works are carried out safely and WSHE regulations are complied with.
. Ensure that proper housekeeping is maintained at all location at all time.
. Provide proper guidance and training to junior staff.
. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/ Management.
Job Requirements:
. At least eight (8) years of relevant experience.
. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Diploma holders or equivalent or mature candidate with relevant experience and proven track records will also be considered.
. Able to work independently and cope in a fast-paced environment.
. Independent, diligent, meticulous and highly motivated with excellent team spirit.
