Position: Construction Quantity Surveyor (QS)
Job Scope & Responsibilities:
Prepare quantity take-off, cost estimates, quotations and tender submissions.
Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO) and final accounts.
Review drawings, specifications, contracts and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
Carry out site measurement and verify actual work done.
Prepare and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Prepare subcontractor progress payments and monitor project costs.
Track project budget, costs, variations and contractual matters.
Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on commercial matters.
Attend site meetings and coordinate with the project/site team when required.
Maintain proper records and supporting documents for claims, VO and final accounts.
Assist in tendering, procurement and cost comparison.
Ensure timely submission and follow-up of claims and commercial documents.
Perform other QS and project-related duties as assigned by the company.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Relevant experience in the Singapore construction industry is preferred.
Familiar with construction drawings, quantity take-off, BQ, progress claims, VO and final accounts.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Able to work independently and coordinate with site/project teams.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Candidates with experience in architectural works, wet trades, structural works or general building works will be an advantage.
