Job Description
Position: Construction Project Supervisor
The Construction Project Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily construction activities on-site, ensuring that works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, quality requirements, and project schedules. The supervisor coordinates with workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on site
- Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Monitor and control overtime to ensure compliance with project budgets and schedules
- Coordinate with the Procurement Department to arrange materials for the handover to the Operations team
- Verify materials delivered to site are as per approved specifications
- Attend all site meetings and coordinate with the Project Manager accordingly
- Coordinate and manage site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Monitor project progress and report daily/weekly updates to the Project Manager
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, site safety plans, and company policies
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards are met
- Identify and resolve site issues, technical problems, and delays
- Maintain site records, including daily work reports, manpower records, and material usage
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and authorities when required
- Ensure proper housekeeping and orderly site conditions at all times
