  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all electrical engineeringworks on-site to ensure smooth project execution in accordance with projectspecifications, drawings, and schedules.
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations, including coordination with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely completionof electrical works.
  • Monitor project progress closely, track milestones, and take proactive measures to address delays, resource constraints, or technical challenges.
  • Ensure all electrical installations and works are carried out in compliance with relevant codes of practice, regulatory requirements, and authoritystandards.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics provide guidance to the site team to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Attend to technical clarifications, resolve design discrepancies, and liaise with consultants/engineers to establish practical and efficient methodstatements.
  • Prepare and review shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality of workmanship, adherenceto safety standards, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Manage and coordinate testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems, ensuring proper documentation and handover procedures are completed.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to source materials, evaluate suppliers,and ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials to site.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including budgeting, cost tracking, and variation claims where applicable.
    Participate in project meetings, prepare progress reports, and provide updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with company policies, quality management systems, and safety procedures.
  • Support the Project Manager in overall project planning, scheduling, andresource allocation.
  • Maintain proper project documentation, including reports, correspondence, andrecords for audit and reference purposes.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers, supervisors, and technical staff to enhance team performance and capability.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, civil, architectural) to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Identify potential risks and propose mitigation measures to minimize impacton project timelines and quality.
  • Assist in tendering processes, including preparation of technical proposals,cost estimates, and project planning where required.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.


Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry.
  • Hands-on experience in managing or supervising electrical works for building or infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with local authority regulations, codes of practice, and submission procedures.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and able to interpret and produce technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution,lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
  • Experience working with M&E/Electrical subcontractors and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Good project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of project management tools/software (e.g., MS Project) will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems is preferred.
  • Candidates with leadership experience or readiness to take on a Project Manager role will be highly regarded.
  • A proactive and responsible attitude with a strong commitment to quality,safety, and timely project delivery.
