Assist the Lead Consultant in project management and daily operations.
Oversee site planning, including facilities, hoarding, access, and crane requirements.
Evaluate project programmes and monitor work progress.
Ensure workplace safety, health, and environmental measures are implemented effectively.
Arrange mock-ups, sample unit inspections, and trade demonstrations.
Coordinate submissions and queries from contractors, ensuring timely responses from consultants.
Review and evaluate contractor progress claims.
Monitor acceptance inspections and ensure timely submission of Request for Variation Orders (RVOs).
Track and manage the engagement of Registered Inspectors (RI Arch and RI M&E).
Plan, inspect, and coordinate the handover of completed works.
Supervise upgrading works to ensure quality workmanship.
Direct RTOs in supervision and site management activities.
Assess and recommend contractor Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
Support the Lead Consultant during the Defects Liability Period.
Requirements
Possess an Architectural, Civil / Structural / Electrical / Mechanical / Environmental Engineering, Building Science, Project Management, Construction Management or other construction and engineering related degree.
The degree shall be recognised either by the respective Professional Bodies in Singapore (Board of Architects or Professional Engineering Board) or BCA.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant post-graduate working experience in the building construction industry, preferably in HDB projects or 3 years of relevant post-graduate project management experience.
Successfully completed the certified Construction Safety Course for Project Manager conducted by training providers accredited by MOM.
