Job Scope:
. Plan, manage, and oversee all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
. Lead and supervise a project team, including engineers, consultants, contractors, and quantity surveyors, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure tasks are executed according to specifications and schedules.
. Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients to meet technical, contractual, and project requirements.
. Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, tenders, and variation submissions provide recommendations and approvals as required.
. Support preparation of progress claims, payment certificates, and final accounts liaise with clients and contractors to resolve financial and technical matters.
. Monitor project budgets, costs, procurement, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of manpower, equipment, and materials.
. Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards identify risks and implement corrective measures.
. Lead project meetings, prepare regular progress reports, and report project status and issues to management.
. Assist in pre-tender documentation, tender clarifications, and contract administration to ensure smooth project execution.
. Participate in value engineering exercises and recommend cost-effective solutions.
. Manage submissions and approvals from authorities, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
Job Requirements:
. Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
. Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management or equivalent role.
. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and contract administration.
. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders effectively.
. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
. Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
. Able to work independently and lead a multidisciplinary team to achieve project goals.
