. Prepare project timeline, work programme, and manpower plan
. Coordinate sequencing of trades (civil, structural, architectural, M&E)
. Ensure works follow authorities requirements (BCA, PUB, LTA, SCDF, NEA)
. Lead daily site operations and meetings
. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants
. Solve site issues quickly to avoid delays
. Ensure site safety compliance (MOM, WSH Act)
. Ensure works meet specifications, drawings, and QP requirements
. Prepare for RTO, RE, QP, and client inspections
. Monitor project budget, materials cost, labour cost
. Approve site purchase requests and prevent wastage and ensure cost efficiency
. Work with QS for VO (variation orders) and claims
. Enforce safety rules, PTW system, risk assessment
. Ensure workers follow safe work procedures
. Maintain project records (inspection forms, test reports, method statements, risk assessments)
. Handle DLP rectification and handover documentation
. Attend coordination meetings with client, consultants, main contractor
. Update management and client on project status
. Communicate design changes, site issues, and delays
. Ensure suppliers deliver according to schedule and specs
. Plan and order materials on time
Requirement:
. Min any Degree in Engineering/ computer science/ Architecture/ Construction Management/ Project Management, recognized by Board of Architects/Professional Engineering Board/BCA.
. Minimum 10 years construction building experience in Singapore local construction.
. Overseeing the progress of the works, liaise with the project team, advising on and assisting in the resolution of problem.
. A team player with leadership abilitiesAbility to identify and resolve complex issues.
