CONSTRUCTION PAINTER (Renovation)

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting(cleaning, sanding, patching, filling cracks and holes)
• Apply paint, varnish, coatings, and finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, and fixtures
• Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and textures
• Protect surrounding areas using drop cloths, tape, and masking materials
• Remove old paint or wallpaper using appropriate tools and techniques
• Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure proper surface preparation before painting
• Operate painting tools and equipment such as brushes, rollers, and spray guns
• Follow renovation plans, drawings, and instructions from supervisors
• Ensure quality workmanship and smooth, even finishes
• Perform touch-ups and finishing work after main painting tasks
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition
• Adhere to workplace safety regulations and use protective gear

Job Requirements:

• Experience in residential and commercial renovation projects or in any related field
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and hazard prevention
• Ability to follow instruction sand work independently or in a team
• Familiarity with surface preparation tools and painting equipment
