[A] Job Description
1. To plan, develop and organise the construction effort to formulate the most cost-effective plan to timely completion.
2. Implement and execute the project plan.
3. Implement and oversee the day-to-day construction of the project.
4. To lead the construction team in ensuring smooth execution of work.
5. Monitor construction productivity and schedule performance.
6. Ensure the duties are carried out by respective personnel and monitor their performance.
7. Monitor and report to the Project Manager of project details, including progress, risks and opportunities in a timely manner.
8. Ensure all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are documented and monitored.
9. Provide recommendations and institute measures for improvement by modification to operating procedures/work instructions.
10. Adhere to company's QHS standards and promote safety culture among the ranks throughout the project.
11. Prepare prompt and accurate status reports.
12. Managing sub-contractors progress and issues.
13. Ensure that safety and quality plan are effectively executed.
14. Liaising with the authorities, client's representatives, sub-contractors, and consultants.
[B] Job Requirement
1. Minimum a technical diploma in Mechanical or Construction discipline.
2. Minimum 3 years in the construction sector.
3. Those will experience in industrial piping installations will have an added advantage.
4. Solid grasp of construction methods, building compliance and safety regulations.
5. Leadership skills, including task delegation and staff management.
6. Decision-making, analytical and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to work well under pressure.
8. Strong conflict resolution skills.
