CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Project Management

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all construction activities on-site
• Develop project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones
• Monitor progress and resolve any delays or site issues

Site Supervision

• Oversee daily site operations and ensure smooth workflow
• Manage site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications

Cost & Budget Control

• Monitor project costs and ensure work stays within budget
• Review and approve material requisitions and site expenses
• Work with QS (Quantity Surveyor) on cost tracking and variations

Quality Control

• Ensure construction works meet company and regulatory standards
• Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures
• Rectify defects and ensure proper handover standards

Safety Management

• Enforce workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations
• Conduct safety briefings and toolbox meetings
• Ensure compliance with MOM and BCA safety requirements

Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and engineers
• Coordinate with authorities for permits and inspections
• Report project updates to senior management regularly

Documentation

• Maintain site records, progress reports, and inspection reports
• Ensure proper documentation for claims, variations, and approvals

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Prefer 5-10 years of experience in construction industry
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methods
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and large teams
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Singapore construction environment is preferred
