Construction & Loose Cargo Operations Controller

Location: Singapore

We are looking for a hands-on, proactive Operations Controller to oversee construction logistics, loose cargo deliveries, project deployments, and site coordination.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving operational challenges, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and ensuring jobs are executed safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate daily loose cargo and construction logistics operations

* Liaise with customers, drivers, dispatchers, crane teams, warehouses, and project sites

* Ensure site readiness before deployment

* Minimise waiting time, failed trips, and operational disruptions

* Monitor operational performance and identify improvement opportunities

* Support billing recovery for waiting time, standby, detention, and other chargeable events

* Assist in implementing SOPs, digitalisation initiatives, and operational improvements

Requirements:

* Experience in logistics, transport operations, construction logistics, project coordination, fleet operations, or crane operations

* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

* Able to work in a fast-paced environment

* Good communication and stakeholder management abilities

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and operational reporting

Preferred Experience:

* Construction logistics

* Rebar or precast deliveries

* Container haulage

* Lorry crane or mobile crane operations

* Warehouse distribution

* PSA or Jurong Island operations
