Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and organized Construction Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
. Coordinate and monitor daily construction activities across project sites.
. Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and clients.
. Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and project resources.
. Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to approved schedules and specifications.
. Prepare project documentation, progress reports, work schedules, and site records.
. Attend coordination meetings and follow up on action items.
. Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor activities to minimize delays.
. Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company procedures.
. Resolve site coordination issues and provide timely support to project teams.
. Assist in project completion, inspections, and handover documentation.
Requirements
. Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Engineering Technology, or other related technical disciplines with relevant working experience.
. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction project coordination or related construction industry roles.
. Good knowledge of construction methods, project coordination, and site operations.
. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
. Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage project schedules effectively.
. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project documentation.
. Familiarity with construction management software and digital project coordination tools will be an advantage.
. Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
. Willing to travel between project sites across Singapore when required.
