We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all contractual and commercial matters across assigned projects, ensuring compliance, managing risks, and safeguarding the company's contractual position. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and relevant authorities to ensure contractual obligations are met and issues are resolved efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
- Review tenders and contract documents to confirm scope and obligations.
- Ensure contractual compliance with all terms, conditions, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage contractual matters with the Authority, including meetings, claims, and disputes (e.g. breach of contract).
- Issue and track contractual notices (Variations, Additional Payments, Delays) and follow up on cost and time claims.
- Prepare and review formal correspondence to LTA, authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Prepare Variation Order (VO) submissions and manage final accounts.
- Monitor variation claims and valuation certificates to ensure timely submission and certification.
- Establish and administer project variation control measures in line with contract provisions.
- Interpret contractual responsibilities and liabilities and provide guidance to the project team.
- Report contractual status and updates to the Planning Manager.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, or related discipline.
- Experience in managing contracts of LTA projects.
- 5-day work week, 8am-6pm
