Job description
Engagement & Outreach
- Develop effective and strategic plans to increase outreach and engagement initiatives/programmes
- Strengthen programming/events expertise and innovation
- Build & harness new digital platforms to expand the reach, sustain and deepen engagement with residents
- Assist in planning and managing of community events
Strategic Planning & Data Analysis
- Drive evidence-based approach in programming and develop outreach strategies
- Leverage on data visualisation tools to illustrate key trends
- Conduct, collate and communicate reports and survey findings
Social Media/Digital Engagement
- Assist in social media postings, scheduling and updates
- Create, curate, manage and publish all social media content, including images, copy, videos and more
- Implement innovative ideas via digital platforms to engage residents
- Run and manage social media campaigns for initiatives
- Keep abreast with latest digital trends to constantly come up with resourceful strategies to improve outreach to different networks in the community and campaigns
Volunteer Management
- Assist to formulate, implement and review plans for the development of volunteers Grassroots Organisations (GRO) and the community
- Act as a catalyst to encourage and assist the GROs to plan and implement community projects to meet the needs of the community
- Provide administrative and logistical support and guidance to the GROs to facilitate effective implementation of their activities
- Co-ordinate the recruitment, appointment of members of volunteers
- Explain government policies, facilitates discussion and channels feedback to appropriate parties
Administrative
- Provide general administrative support to the Constituency Office

- The work requires shift work.
Requirements
- Keen interest in Community Engagement
- Good Project Management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills (e.g. effective time management, efficiency with resources available)
- Independent, self-motivated and an effective team player
- Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good knowledge of Social Media Platforms, i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Telegram
- Creative mind-set and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to collect and interpret data, and to draw meaningful conclusions and analysis
- Competent in using both current and evolving social media tools and analytics
- Competent in design or data analytics software will be a bonus
- Preferably academically trained in either Business Management, Marketing, Events Management, Social or Community Development, Digital Communications, Mass Communication, Data Science & Analytics, or relevant disciplines
