Job Summary
Lead quality assurance and control efforts for construction projects by managing BCA CONQUAS and Quality Mark assessments. Conduct site inspections, oversee documentation, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance and achieve target quality scores.
Responsibilities
- Manage BCA CONQUAS and Quality Mark assessments by serving as the primary liaison with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) to schedule and coordinate assessments.
- Develop and implement project-specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plans, benchmarks, and procedures to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and pre-assessments to verify all works comply with CONQUAS standards before formal assessments.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed inspection and quality reports for management and clients.
- Manage non-conformance reports by identifying issues and coordinating corrective actions.
- Train, guide, and manage internal inspectors and subcontractors on quality requirements to achieve target CONQUAS scores.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and project teams to drive quality improvements and remedial actions.
Required competencies and certifications
- Completed at least 3 HDB project CONQUAS assessments
- Achieved CONQUAS Star rating on projects
- Minimum 3 years of HDB project experience
- Conquas Manager Certificate
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field
