RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Conference Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of conference programs for our events. This role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the content, structure, and execution of our conferences meet the highest standards.

  • Program Development: Research and develop compelling conference themes, topics, and agendas in collaboration with industry experts and stakeholders.
  • Speaker Management: Identify, invite, and manage relationships with speakers, moderators, and panellists. Coordinate logistics such as travel, scheduling, and presentation materials.
  • Content Curation: Ensure high-quality content delivery by curating engaging sessions, keynotes, and panel discussions aligned with event objectives.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with sponsors, partners, and exhibitors to integrate their input into conference activities where appropriate.
  • Partnerships: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry associations, media, and other relevant organisations to enhance the visibility and value of the conference.
  • Logistical Oversight: Work closely with the operations team to manage on-site conference logistics, including AV setups, room layouts, and technical requirements.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Support marketing efforts by providing detailed program information and promotional content to drive event attendance.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and monitor budgets for conference-related activities to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • On-Site Execution: Oversee the successful delivery of the conference, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise in real time.
  • Post-Event Analysis: Conduct post-conference evaluations and recommend improvements for future events based on attendee feedback and performance metrics.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in conference management, preferably within the events or exhibitions industry.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills with an eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-starter, driven with the capability to manage multiple conferences simultaneously.
