We are seeking an experienced Events and Conference Manager to research and develop strategic business-to-business (B2B) conferences and events at a strategic, operational and international level - both digital and in-person.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Conducting rigorous in-depth, research and analysis of key industries to create carefully develop industry-leading conference programmes
- Identifying, recruiting and onboarding local, regional and global industry leaders as speakers who are at the top of their field and who will draw delegate registrations.
- Overseeing the conference production process and cycle from conception to event delivery
- Writing concise, engaging, accurate and relevant conference programmes with exceptional copywriting skills and close attention to detail
- Excellent project and time management capabilities, and able to manage and meet deadlines
- Managing the execution of your events online and onsite
- Working with the commercial departments to ensure events achieve optimal financial performance
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-8 years experience in B2B large-scale conferences as a leading producer across in-person and digital conferences at international level
- Experience in producing and managing integrated event campaigns that drive demand, pipeline and brand preferences (in-person and digital conferences)
- Commercial and customer-focused mindset, and an eye to translate market requirements into a well-written program
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and influence
- Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial curiosity to find out more about new developments in relevant markets and sectors
- Propose new event concepts through research, development and evaluation of commercially driven topics
- Experience of digital event management platforms and software e.g. Swapcard, Vimeo Live, Hubspot
- Ability to work independently and proactively to deliver project deliverables according to deadlines
