Job Summary
Manage and maintain property assets to ensure safety, operational efficiency, and compliance with Singapore's building legislation. Lead inspections, coordinate maintenance programs, and collaborate with stakeholders to uphold high standards in property management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the management and upkeep of property to maintain safe, functional, and well-maintained facilities
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, and business practices governing building maintenance and management in Singapore
- Implement and enforce instructions, by-laws, and regulations under the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act (BMSMA) and House rules
- Coordinate, schedule, and supervise routine inspections of property, grounds, facilities, and equipment to verify proper maintenance by staff and contractors
- Develop, implement, and review preventive maintenance checklists and programs to proactively address property needs
- Collaborate with property developers, consultants, architects, and contractors during Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) and Post-TOP phases for new developments
- Respond promptly to after-office-hour emergency calls, messages, and emails, taking decisive actions to resolve issues
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or higher qualification
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in property management
- Proven experience managing property management operations
- Strong knowledge of Running Management Corporations and the Building Maintenance & Strata Management Act
- Experience managing client relationships effectively
- Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and people management skills
- Passion for and experience in developing team members
- Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills
