Job Description & Requirements
- Inspecting the truck and the mixer before each delivery for any defects or malfunctions
- Operating the truck safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Loading and unloading concrete from the mixer to the job site, ensuring timely delivery
- Operating the concrete mixer during transit to maintain the concrete's freshness and prevent it from hardening
- Maintaining communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and construction site personnel for delivery updates and instructions
- Cleaning and maintaining the mixer, truck, and other equipment to keep it in good working order
- Recording and reporting delivery information, hours worked, mileage, and fuel usage
- Cooperating with other construction crew members for efficient delivery and placement of the concrete
- Complying with all safety rules and regulations associated with the job
