Job Description: Computer Repair & Systems Technician

Salary Range: $2,000 - $4,000 per month (Commensurate with technical certifications and experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile Computer Repair Technician to handle the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of hardware and software systems. You will be the go-to expert for troubleshooting technical issues, upgrading system performance, and ensuring that clients digital tools are running at peak efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the latest technology and enjoys solving complex hardware puzzles.

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware Diagnostics & Repair: Identify and resolve hardware failures in desktops, laptops, and servers. This includes replacing motherboards, power supplies, RAM, storage drives, and cooling systems.

• Software Troubleshooting: Resolve OS-level issues (Windows, macOS, Linux), perform virus/malware removal, and handle driver conflicts or corrupted system files.

• System Integration & Upgrades: Advise clients on and perform hardware upgrades, such as migrating to NVMe SSDs or increasing memory capacity to improve system speed.

• Networking & Connectivity: Set up and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi 6/7 configurations, and router settings to ensure stable high-speed internet connectivity.

• Data Management: Execute secure data backups, partitions, and data recovery procedures for compromised or failing storage media.

• Customer Consultation: Explain technical issues to non-technical clients, providing clear repair estimates and preventative maintenance advice.

Requirements

• Technical Experience: Proven experience in computer assembly or repair. Familiarity with both PC and Mac hardware is a strong advantage.

• Knowledge Base: Deep understanding of internal components, BIOS/UEFI settings, and various storage interfaces.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to systematically isolate faults in complex systems.

• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to provide high-quality customer service in a retail or corporate environment.
