Renewable Contract Basis
Location: School in Bukit Timah
We are seeking a dynamic educator to deliver lower secondary computer education and makerspace programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for curriculum delivery, student development in Infocomm clubs, and providing multimedia and technical support for the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Delivery: Teach and develop programmes in:
Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Microsoft Office Certification preparation).
Coding: Python, Swift (Swift Playgrounds or similar platforms).
Computational Thinking: Robotics kits (Micro:Bit, M5GO, LEGO) using Python or block-based programming.
School Platforms: Teams, OneNote Class Notebook.
AI Tools: Copilot, ChatGPT, NotebookLM.
Video Editing: Canva, Capcut or equivalent.
Makerspace Activities: Facilitate craft, design, and 3D printing sessions (e.g., Cricut).
Student Development: Train Infocomm Club students in video, graphic, and animation production coordinate participation in multimedia competitions.
Media & Technical Support:
Maintain photography equipment and manage the school website (Isomer or equivalent).
Provide photography/videography support for school events and create collateral materials.
Develop multimedia resources for teaching and learning.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3 years in school-based ICT education, multimedia services, and workshop facilitation.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Office, Python/Swift, robotics, AI tools, video editing (Canva/Capcut), and website management (Isomer).
Soft Skills: Strong classroom management, pedagogy, and student engagement abilities.
Attributes: Self-motivated, independent, and a collaborative team player.
