Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Technology / Data Engineering Specialist with extensive hands-on experience in large-scale data warehouse, analytics platforms, and financial compliance domains. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of Retail Banking, Wholesale Banking, and Global Markets, combined with deep expertise in data modeling, financial crime analytics, and data security.

Key Responsibilities

Data & Analytics

Lead the design and development of large-scale data warehouse and data mart solutions.
Perform data modeling, data mapping, and metadata design to support enterprise analytics initiatives.
Implement and optimize industry-standard data models and dimensional modeling frameworks.
Partner with business and compliance teams to deliver analytics solutions across:

Transaction Monitoring
Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
Payment Screening
Financial Crime Reporting

Compliance Technology

Build and enhance compliance analytics platforms to meet regulatory, risk, and reporting requirements.
Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AML / FCC use cases.

Data Security & Access Control

Architect and implement role-based, fine-grained access control across platforms.

Lead design of data security solutions covering the full data lifecycle-from ingestion to consumption.

Platform Engineering

Develop scalable and secure data pipelines on Hadoop and cloud-based environments

Ensure performance optimization, data quality, and operational resilience in production systems.

Technical Skill Requirements-Mandatory Skills

Hadoop (Cloudera)
Python, Java, PySpark, Scala
UNIX / Shell scripting
Informatica
Oracle / SQL

Preferred / Good-to-Have

Experience in AML/CFT solutions and compliance platforms.
Familiarity with banking products across Retail, Wholesale, and Global Markets.
Knowledge of big-data security frameworks and data governance standards.
