Our client is a Singapore-based derivatives exchange and clearing house, approved by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). As Singapore's third licensed derivatives exchange, they provide a trusted marketplace for futures and options products across global markets.

Role Overview
We are seeking a Compliance Surveillance Specialist to support the Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance Department. This role will be responsible for ensuring effective trade monitoring, market surveillance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily trade and market surveillance to detect irregularities, potential market abuse, or breaches of trading rules.
• Support investigations into suspicious trading activities and escalate issues where required.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to MAS regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation for regulatory submissions and audits.
• Contribute to the enhancement of surveillance systems, controls, and procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in trading compliance or derivatives trading surveillance is essential.
• Strong knowledge of MAS regulations and exchange trading rules.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex trading data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Team player with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
