Team Introduction In line with the globalization strategy and vision of the company, the Global Payments team builds a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, that are growing rapidly worldwide. Responsibilities As the Product Owner of the Global Compliance Platform, you will architect the secure review engine powering billions in transaction volume. In an era of evolving global regulations, your mission is to harmonize rigorous compliance with business agility. You will design a scalable, AI-driven ecosystem that translates complex regulatory mandates into standardized, high-performance product capabilities. - Own the Global Payment Compliance Operations Platform, and build a standardized, scalable, and efficient compliance operations infrastructure supporting multi-country and multi-business scenarios, including case management, workflow orchestration, access control, and multi-tenant architecture - Lead the standardization of compliance review processes, transforming manual operational experience into system rules, structured workflows, and measurable indicators to enable consistent execution and quality control across regions - Design and promote AI-enabled and automated review mechanisms, including risk pre-classification, information extraction, and decision support, to establish a layered review model (auto-pass, human-in-the-loop, manual confirmation) - Continuously improve key operational metrics such as AHT, automation rate, and cost per case through product design, data analysis, and AI capability integration - Work closely with Operations, Compliance, and R&D teams to ensure product design aligns with regulatory requirements, business scenarios, and operational realities, and to drive high-quality feature delivery and adoption.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in Internet product management, technology, and/or data-related fields, with a solid background in payment/finance risk, anti-fraud, and/or AML domains - Proven experience in building standardized and scalable compliance or risk operation platforms (e.g. case management, workflow orchestration) - Demonstrated ability to transform manual review processes into systemized, reusable workflows - Deep understanding of compliance management flows and regulatory requirements across customer onboarding, sanction screening, and suspicious transaction monitoring - Ability to abstract complex SOPs into structured workflows, system rules, and measurable indicators - Strong ownership and execution capabilities, with the ability to drive complex product planning and translate fast-changing, diverse business requirements into scalable product solutions - Strong data-driven mindset, with proven experience improving operational metrics (e.g. AHT, automation rate, cost per case) through product design and process standardization Preferred Qualifications - Hands-on experience deploying LLM-based Agents in operational workflows, such as risk pre-classification, information extraction, and decision support - Familiarity with human-in-the-loop and layered review models (e.g. auto-pass, assisted review, manual confirmation) - Experience integrating AI capabilities into compliance or risk operations to enhance efficiency and automation - Solid understanding of AML and sanctions requirements in global e-commerce, credit lending, and live streaming businesses - Prior experience with international payment platforms or financial service platforms
