About the role

We are looking for an experienced Compliance professional to safeguard a fast-growing, high-frequency quantitative fund in Singapore. You will serve as the primary point of accountability for the firm's regulatory framework in Singapore, bridging the gap between sophisticated trading algorithms and global regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Oversight: Act as the primary liaison with MAS, managing licensing (LFMC), regulatory inspections, and strategic filings.
• Trade Surveillance: Design and oversee advanced surveillance frameworks to detect market abuse (e.g., spoofing, front-running) across global quantitative strategies.
• Strategic Advisory: Partner with Quant Researchers and Traders to provide real-time compliance advisory on market microstructure and new product launches.
• Global Coordination: Collaborate with HQ and regional offices to align compliance posture across SFC (HK) and SEC (US) regimes.
• Financial Crime Governance: Oversee the AML/CFT framework, serving as the firm's MLRO to ensure institutional-grade investor onboarding.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 7 years of core compliance experience, with at least 3+ years within a MAS-licensed fund management company (LFMC experience is a must).
• Technical Savvy: Deep understanding of market microstructure, derivatives, and automated trading environments.
• Independence: Demonstrated ability to handle MAS audits and inquiries independently.
• Communication: Professional fluency, with the ability to collaborate effectively with regional tech and investment teams.
• The Edge: Hands-on experience with trading systems (e.g., Eze, Bloomberg) and a proactive approach to technology-driven compliance.
