Cana Consulting is currently in search of a Compliance Officer, providing comprehensive compliance oversight and targeted risk management support across the APAC region.
This role acts as the primary point of contact for all regulatory matters in Singapore, ensuring a robust governance framework that aligns with both global standards and local regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison for Singapore regulatory authorities, managing inspections, supervisory queries, and regulatory filings.
- Design and maintain local compliance systems, controls, and policies to ensure full alignment with regional standards and statutory requirements.
- Conduct reviews and monitoring for AML/CFT, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, and Conduct Risk.
- Provide real-time compliance advice to the business to support informed, high-integrity decision-making and ensure ongoing regulatory readiness.
- Support the enhancement of the regional ERM framework and core methodology.
- Assist with risk event reporting, maintaining risk registers, and performing control assessments.
- Contribute to risk-related management information and support initiatives to embed a strong risk culture across the APAC business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Proven background in Compliance or Risk within the Insurance or Reinsurance sector.
- Strong familiarity with Singapore's regulatory landscape and a track record of managing regulatory relationships.
- Effective communicator and collaborative team member.
