We are working on a confidential search for a well-established, global shipping company.
They are looking for a Compliance Officer to join their Legal & Compliance team, a role that sits within a small, internationally connected function.
What you'll be doing:
- Sanctions and counterparty screening (individuals, entities, vessels, cargo supply chains)
- Reviewing and maintaining internal compliance policies and procedures
- KYC analysis and management of the Counterparty Registration System
- Delivering compliance training via the Learning Management System
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Monitoring KPIs and preparing compliance reports
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant qualification
- At least 1 year of experience in compliance, fraud risk, AML, or internal controls
- Familiarity with sanctions and AML regulatory frameworks
- Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple priorities and stay composed under pressure
