Compliance Officer - Digital Assets (Singapore & Global)
OSL is a global digital asset financial services platform and a publicly listed leader (HKEX: 863). We are seeking a hands-on Compliance Officer to secure our MAS license and build the compliance framework for our Singapore digital asset business. This is a foundational role offering a unique opportunity to shape our regulatory footprint from the ground up while supporting global expansion. The ideal candidate is a pragmatic, crypto-native compliance professional with deep expertise in Singapore's digital asset regulations, particularly the Payment Services Act (PSA).
Key Responsibilities:
- License Application & Regulatory Strategy: Lead the preparation, submission, and ongoing management of MAS license applications for digital asset services. Act as a primary liaison with MAS and other regulators.
- Crypto-First Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain robust compliance, AML/CFT, and risk frameworks specifically designed for digital asset and capital markets activities, ensuring alignment with MAS guidelines and industry best practices.
- Business Advisory for Crypto Products: Provide practical, real-time compliance advice to business and trading teams on product launches, new token listings, marketing campaigns, and customer onboarding in a fast-paced crypto environment.
- Financial Crime Oversight: Conduct risk assessments and ongoing transaction monitoring for digital asset transactions. Investigate suspicious activity, including on-chain analysis, and file necessary regulatory reports (STRs).
- Global Compliance Support: Assist the Head of Compliance with research and analysis for global licensing and regulatory efforts, including existing operations in Australia and Bermuda.
Who We Are Looking For:
- 3-5 years of direct compliance experience within a licensed crypto exchange, digital asset platform, or fintech specializing in digital payments/assets.
- Proven hands-on experience with Singapore's Payment Services Act (PSA) and MAS regulatory requirements for digital asset businesses. Direct experience with license applications is a strong plus.
- Deep, practical understanding of cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and digital asset trading. Personal or professional involvement in the crypto ecosystem is essential.
- A self-starter with experience in a mid-to-large regulated financial or crypto firm, capable of building processes and working autonomously in a growth-phase environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex regulatory concepts to business and technical teams.
- Exposure to Australian (AUSTRAC) or Bermudan regulations is advantageous.
