Job Description


Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer to support regulatory compliance, governance, and risk management activities within a leading banking organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in regulatory reporting, board and management updates, implementation of new regulatory requirements, and coordination of regulatory engagements. This role offers excellent exposure to compliance and regulatory affairs within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Board and management reporting cycles, including preparation and coordination of regulatory reports, management updates, and Board papers.
  • Assist in the implementation of new Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and support preparation activities for key MAS regulatory engagements, reviews, and examinations.
  • Assist in managing and coordinating the Unit's Scorecard process for 2026 and 2027.
  • Support Unit Operational Risk Management activities and related compliance initiatives.
  • Participate in in-house system enhancement projects to improve compliance, risk management, and operational processes.
  • Track regulatory developments and assist in assessing their impact on business operations.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for governance, compliance, and risk-related initiatives.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Law, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Risk Management, Audit, or Governance within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Good understanding of MAS regulations and banking regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in preparing regulatory reports, management reporting, or Board papers
  • Good stakeholder management and coordination skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
